Prerequisites:None. In parcular, no biological knowlege is needed. You don’t need to know what a protein is. :) For certain lectures, knowledge from various fields of physics will be useful, e.g. from quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics or classical mechanics. However, if you have not yet heard these lectures, you will pick up the ideas during the lecture, don’t worry.
Type of course:We will have lectures normally on Tuesday, and hands-on computer practicals on Thursdays. There will be no homework exercises.
Language:    English during lectures, English or German during computer practicals, up to you.
Exam:Oral, 30min (German or English, up to you)
